Debbie Heimowitz is a specialist in educational children’s content in entertainment and technology. A former development executive for Amazon Studios kids’ series, Debbie was on the team that launched the first original streaming series for kids from preschool to pre-teen. An alum of Netflix, Debbie managed children’s product merchandising strategy. While a graduate student in the education school at Stanford University, Debbie developed the Adina’s Deck video series, a research supported narrative about social responsibility in adolescent technology, which has since been distributed internationally. She also worked for LeapFrog, Zoodles Kid Mode, and as a television consultant at Mitroff & Associates. Debbie loves to unravel new approaches to engagement that inspire curiosity and imagination. Led by a passion for learning that stems from her experience as an elementary school teacher, Debbie helps Square Panda stay true to its mission of creating learning experiences that feel like playtime. She holds a CA State Teaching Credential, a Bachelor’s in Film from UC Berkeley and Master’s in Learning, Design & Technology from Stanford University.
